Unless you have a really good supplementary health insurance or have access to a special semi-private clinic (e.g. university health services), it's $140+ per hour.</description>

At least you have insight into when your therapist is potentially spouting cliches.  You have to pin them down at that stage - grill them to make sure they weren't just thinking about their next coffee-break. Like "What qualities?" 

And at least you have a therapist .  In the UK system, it's anywhere between 2 months to one year wait for an NHS therapist - probably to make sure you're either better/have fully responded to medication/dead before they have to see you. And then after all that waiting, you only get 6-8 sessions.  Insane!
